Where is the handle? The seat unit cannot be lifted into position until the handle is up, release the handle from the locking clip and raise until it ‘clicks’ into position.  Then lift the seat unit.

Watch the how to video here. To lift it off the seat unit it has to be level with the floor, there are lines on the hub and the seat unit; these need to be aligned, then it should lift up.  If it is stiff, try squeezing the base of the seat unit against the back panel, you might hear a ‘click’ which will be the locking mechanism releasing.  Lift off parallel to the floor – don’t lift one side at a time. The R1 likes to be symmetrical.

When folded with the seat unit fitted the R1 measures: 16 x 22 x 27 inches / 39 x 55 x 67 cm.

The R1 has a built-in carry handle, always use this to carry the stroller.

The stroller will not fold whilst the handle is extended, this is a safety check. Check the handle is in lowest position; twist the handlebar barrel away from you and slide it down to the lowest position, now start your normal folding process.

No, the wheels are not air filled.

The front wheels can be locked in a forward facing direction, this mode is for uneven ground/cobbles, they can unlock and independently swivel for easier maneuverability, the choice of mode is yours. Locate the shiny angled collars above the wheels and twist them both in, towards the middle of the stroller to lock forwards or twist outwards to make them swivel.

The front wheels cannot be removed. The rear wheels can be taken off if required. Press and hold the central button while pulling the wheel from the axel.

We recommend cleaning the wheels regularly to prevent a build up of dirt in the mechanism. They can be cleaned with a damp cloth. It is important to check the rear wheel axel for grit and sand which can corrode the metal. To remove the rear wheels press the center button and pull out.

Yes, the solid fabric is tested to UPF 50. Note that when the mesh window is open the sun protection is removed.

The cool box will keep items which are already cold (from a refrigerator) cool for up to 8 hours. A fully loaded cool box will stay cooler than a lightly loaded one, the more frequently it is opened will reduce the cooling duration. Remember it will not make items cold, just keep them from warming up as quickly.
